Lunuganga Garden Open Day 
10 a.m. – 4 .m.
Experience the Lunuganga garden without any entrance fees during the launch of the 'To Lunuganga' programme.  A limited number of visitors will have the opportunity to explore the gardens free of charge.
Join us as we celebrate 75 years of the Lunuganga garden.



Thursday, 20 July (Colombo)


10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Tours of Number 11, Geoffrey Bawa’s Colombo residence and the de Saram house by Geoffrey Bawa.

4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Curatorial tour of A Light through Time Exhibition by Aneesha Mustachi at Number 11, Geoffrey Bawa’s Colombo Residence.

7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Premier screening of ‘Bawa’s Garden’ at Scope Cinemas, followed by a Q+A with Director Clara Kraft moderated by Mariah Lookman.





Friday, 21 July (Bentota)


5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Launch of installations by Reena Saini Kallat and introduction of participants Sumayya Vally and Firi Rahman in forthcoming seasons; conversation with Suhanya Raffel, Trustee and Executive Director of M+ and Shayari de Silva, Chief Curator. Introductions and moderation by Aneesha Mustachi.

Saturday, 22 July (Bentota)

 
6.30 a.m. – 8 a.m.
Hog Deer Excursion; boats to Honduwa island to see hog deer (LKR 2,000 per person).



10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Ecological tour of Lunuganga with Prof. Sarath Kotagama, University of Colombo.



12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Picnic at Lunuganga. Join us for a delightful day in nature at Lunuganga Garden! Enjoy a picnic amidst lush greenery and serene landscapes.

Tours of Lunuganga by Geoffrey Bawa Trust Chairperson Channa Daswatte and Number 5 (Ena de Silva house) by Architect Amila de Mel.

20th Annual Memorial Lecture: On Gardens: Burle Marx and Bawa. Talk by Isabela Ono, Director of Instituto Burle Marx Rio de Janeiro and Shayari de Silva, Chief Curator, Geoffrey Bawa Trust, Introduction by Channa Daswatte, Chairperson of Geoffrey Bawa and Lunuganga Trusts.



6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
BBQ Night. Join us for a delightful day in nature at Lunuganga Garden! Enjoy a picnic or BBQ feast amidst lush greenery and serene landscapes.
